	King Stephen penny. The 'Watford'/Cross Moline issue. Minted between 1136 and 1145 by this scarce man of Blois. Fantastic detail on this example, bust facing right with a centred strike and a good cross moline. Mint is London and the moneyer is likely to be Algar. Please note piercing, does not detract at all as not on the legend or portrait. Spink 1278.
